About the role

Have you always wanted to become a Dental Equipment Engineer but don’t know where to start?

Here at Dental Engineers we now offer both Apprenticeships and training opportunities for aspiring Field Service Dental Engineers. As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for passionate and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Key responsibilities

During your first 3 to 6 months of training you will:

  • Learn and perform proactive and reactive maintenance: You will be trained to inspect and maintain dental equipment to ensure efficient operation and attend call outs when necessary, minimising downtime for dental practices.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning activities: You will learn how to set up new dental equipment, including installation and initial testing.
  • Complete required company documentation: You will be taught how to maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and installations. This documentation is crucial for tracking maintenance history and ensuring compliance.
  • Follow Dental Engineers quality system and procedures: You will adhere to company quality standards and procedures at all times to maintain consistency and quality in your work.
  • Attend manufacturers and Dental Engineers training programs: You will stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques by attending training programs.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships: You will learn how to build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing exceptional Customer Service to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

About you

  • Full UK Drivers License is required
  • A strong technical thought process
  • An interest in Engineering
  • Knowledge in Electrical Installation and/or Plumbing
  • Ideally experienced in using and maintaining a software systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
